In 1982, there was an article in the local New Orleans Magazine. WTBS (in Atlanta) was known as the exciting and new, "SuperStation". They had a program called "Nice People" and the producers contacted me as a result of the article (in N. O. Magazine), spent three days with me, and this was the result. It provides a nice overview of my experience in NOLA. They were great days.
Here are two of my earliest PSAs. Over five years, we produced 1000 of these.
I was able to get the attention of the local version of PM Magazine (over at WWL) and they produced THIS piece.
For a time, we tried an hour-long Sunday morning program. This is the opening from it.
After a while, I wanted to use my television forum to do some good out in the community. Child Safety Programs were popular and I actually joined the Jewish Women's League in order to participate in their program. Top Gun was a popular movie at the time and I called my program Top Kid (pretty creative). This was a presentation during a special program at the local cable studio.
Around ten or fifteen years later, back home in Michigan, I did programs for a science program called Wonderama and this was a locally produced piece about that.
